Rincon is the ultimate venue
for a tropical wedding. An enormous selection of gorgeous locations, plus excellent
accommodations and facilities that fit any wedding budget, make
Rincon a unique and memorable wedding spot. For example, the
sunset wedding of Wanda and Todd Cobb, pictured above, was
celebrated at Light House Park, followed by a poolside reception at a
local Inn, just
feet away from the clear blue waters of the Caribbean.
From
a formal wedding in an old Spanish Church, followed by a grand reception
at the
Horned Dorset Primavera, to an
intimate ceremony on the beach, with palm trees and a
distant tropical island as a backdrop, Rincon
has become the coolest wedding destination choice. There is no such
thing
as an unconventional wedding in Rincon.
The
Rincon Beach Resort offers
outdoor garden weddings, with many options. The couple in the picture
on the left, Scott and Norma Montgomery, were married in a
tropical garden. The groom, of Scottish origin, wore his
clan's plaids and a bagpiper completed the blend of European wedding
traditions with modern Caribbean trends. A wedding reception at
beautiful
Villa Cofresí, who has been
arranging weddings in Rincon for generations, has become an island
tradition. You don't even have to get married on land, several
charter boat services can arrange for a wedding at sea. While an
underwater wedding has not yet been seen in Rincon, it has been done
elsewhere and soon, a pair of diving enthusiasts will decide to tie the
knot in the crystal clear waters of Rincon.
A beach ceremony is a great
way to start life as a couple. Jake and Isela
Elmstrom placed this beautiful image of themselves on the cover of
their wedding announcement,
which shows them at Tres Palmas
Beach, the actual location of their wedding ceremony.
Later, a poolside reception was held at a local Inn. Some have chosen to be married in the nearby mountains
with the rainforest and distant ocean views as a backdrop. A wedding
under the stars can be easily arranged by many of the
Rincon resorts, hotels
and inns, which also offer beautiful, intimate honeymoon
accommodations.
Vista Vacation Resort offers
intimate honeymoon suites with spectacular sunset views.
Since Puerto Rico is part of
the US, your marriage certificate is quite valid. Civil and religious
weddings of all denominations can be arranged. Your
guests will
appreciate the wide variety of lodging options and the many different
activities in the Rincon area. Many wedding guests stay on for an
extended holiday in Rincon. To obtain specific details
about weddings in Rincon, go to our

Most of the Rincon
resorts, hotels, inns and restaurants have wedding coordinators that will be glad to
carefully describe how they can make
your wedding experience a happy and memorable one.
